baked chicken livers

Ingredients:

1 lb chicken livers, washed and trimmed

one egg, beaten

almond flour or almond meal

salt and pepper

dash of cayenne pepper

olive oil cooking spray

 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350F.  Cover baking sheet with foil and spray with olive oil.  Dip chicken livers first in beaten egg, then coat with almond flour seasoned with salt, pepper and cayenne.  Place on baking sheet and bake for approximately 35 minutes.  I serve mine with sautéed onions.
